This program is supported by the City of Greater Geelong through its Community Arts Grants Program.

Groups

Discounts for single concerts are available from the secretary for groups of six or more.

† A Commonwealth means-tested Pension Card or equivalent. Seniors card holders are not eligible for concession prices.

Purchasing Tickets

1. Download and print the Booking Form
2. On the Booking Form, select the Select 4 Concerts Subscription and/or Single Concerts and the number of tickets you want in each case.
   If you have selected the Select 4 Concerts Subscription, select which concerts you wish to attend.
3. Calculate the cost of each item and the total owing.
4. Post the Booking Form with a cheque or Money Order to The Secretary, GCMS, PO Box 988, GEELONG, 3220.

Membership

The Geelong Chamber Music Society aims to bring Chamber Orchestras and Ensembles to perform in Geelong. Our members are music lovers and the Society fills a gap in Geelong's cultural environment.

We welcome new members who may join by contacting the secretary by phone on (03) 52436931 or emailing to admin@gcms.org.au.

Please join the (E)mailing list. Please Email your Title (Mr, Mrs, etc.), given name, family name, address and Email address to admin@gcms.org.au. We will post information about concerts to you and Email reminders of upcoming concerts.

Can you support the musicians and the Society by making a tax deductable donation?

The fees paid to the orchestra and ensembles help to support these young musicians as they forge their careers. If you enjoy being able to hear these ensembles in Geelong, you may be able to make a donation that will help to ensure that the concerts continue and the musicians receive the financial support that flows from them.

We have received funding from the City of Greater Geelong under its Arts Development Program for which we are most grateful. We also receive support from Arts Victoria and Regional Arts Victoria.

Supporters will soon be able to make tax deductible donations directly to the Geelong Chamber Music Society Inc. We have now been included on the Register of Cultural Organisations held by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and await the formal advice that donations made directly to the society are tax-deductible.

About Us

The Geelong Chamber Music Society was formed in September, 2008 and subsequently incorporated.

The main purpose is:

• To bring to audiences in the Geelong area concerts by professional and elite Chamber Orchestras and ensembles.

1. To assist young Victorian professional and elite musicians to achieve their career goals by providing performance opportunities and financial support; and
2. To provide for students in the Geelong area, quality listening and learning opportunities that will develop their skills and understanding of music through concerts and workshops.
